This is an official bonus download that was available under "Extras" on the old zootycoon.com website and was packaged in Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection but, unlike most other official downloads, never with the individual expansions. One who purchased Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals should have every download except this and the Asiatic Black Bear. This download is uploaded here for those who had purchased all the expansion packs and do not wish to purchase Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection solely to acquire an otherwise-discontinued download that was free (the only other difference between UC and all expansions individually is the silver user interface).
Zoo Tycoon 2 Dinosaur Planet Pack Downloadl
This download makes additional copies of the dinosaurs and objects from Zoo Tycoon 2: Dino Danger Pack that were overwritten in Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals and restores the pack's original form. The dinosaurs' names are prefaced with "DDP" and some animations changed between the release of Dino Danger and Extinct Animals that are not switched back by this hack, but otherwise this pack allows its downloaders to essentially acquire this otherwise unavailable official content. This is fully compatible with the Dino Danger Pack Filter Change hack.
Zoo Tycoon is a series of video games (mostly for PC) where the player is given the task of managing a zoo, keeping both its guests and animals happy and healthy, or not. The first game was released in 2001, to fairly positive reviews. It was followed by a couple of expansion packs which added dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals (Dinosaur Digs, 2002) as well as marine life (Marine Mania, 2002) to the mix. The three original games would later be combined in Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection, a compilation which also came with new bonus animals, objects and an additional pack of endangered species.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Wild! (released October 25, 2005) is the second expansion pack for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and is currently the final iteration of the game released for the PC. It includes new attractions and themes, with addition being the ability to create zoos and safari rides in a park. New scenery items include African flora and giant insects and dinosaurs.
